The Society aims at undertaking Research works in the fields of the cultural heritage of India and various other domains of Indian Knowledge Systems for unfolding their relevance in the modern socio-economic conditions and for building the future roadmap for vibrant and sustainable development.
To undertake and promote research in the fields of the cultural heritage of India and various domains of Indian Knowledge Systems, with a view to identifying, preserving, and unfolding their relevance in contemporary socio-economic contexts, and to contribute towards the creation of a future roadmap for vibrant and sustainable development.
To utilize the expertise, resource persons, and knowledge bank of the Society for guiding, mentoring, and supporting researchers, scholars, and institutions engaged in the aforesaid fields of study.
To collaborate and enter into partnerships, arrangements, or agreements with national and international research institutions, universities, and other academic bodies, for the purpose of undertaking, facilitating, or promoting such research works.
To execute Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with state-level, national-level, and international universities or research institutions for the mutual exchange of resources, knowledge, and expertise in support of the Society’s research objectives.
To provide policy recommendations and suggestions to the Government of India, State Governments, and other governmental or non-governmental bodies, based on research findings, for the formulation or improvement of policies related to cultural heritage, Indian Knowledge Systems, and sustainable socio-economic development.
To undertake the publication of research works, dissertations, and theses (including Ph.D. works) produced by scholars in relevant fields, subject to review and approval by the Expert Committee of the Society, and to disseminate such works through print, digital, or any other suitable media.
To organize seminars, workshops, conferences, exhibitions, training programs, and other academic or cultural events to promote awareness, research, and dialogue in the fields covered under the objectives of the Society.
To raise and receive funds, grants, donations, subscriptions, and contributions from lawful sources in India and abroad, subject to applicable laws, for the purpose of carrying out the objects of the Society.
To do all such acts, deeds, and things as may be necessary, incidental, or conducive to the attainment of the above objects or any of them, in accordance with the provisions of applicable laws in force.
